We're Making a Christmas Kit!

It’s beginning to look a lot like… Christmas? I know it’s hard to think ahead, but this week we’re going to start getting ready to make our Christmas cards! If we all work together, we’ll have plenty of supplies to scrap our cards and our holiday pics!
This week I’m going to provide a swatch and some paper templates! If you want to participate, make a paper (ok, maybe 2 papers) and send it to me at jenn (at) Scrappersworkshop.com Each week I will compile the contributions, and the following week you will all get everyone else’s papers too! By Thanksgiving, we’ll have a wonderful holiday kit for all sorts of great uses!

i have missed so many chats that i had no idea about this; so glad that becky posted it on her facebook!

i am off to create! that is if i can get my program to stay open; it has shut down on my twice today! and of course i hadn't saved either thing i was working on so i had to start over!

These are two different templates to help you make ribbons.
One has the edges on it's own layer, and the layer styles intact so you can see how I did it. To color the layers, just add a layer above the ribbon and fill with color or pattern (you can use a paper you made!) then clip it (hold the ALT key and click in the layers palette on the line between the color and ribbon layers). You can do the same color for the edges and ribbon, or different color on the edges looks nice too!
The other has a color layer, just change the color and save as .png.

can i still send you my papers. i totally forogot to send them to you. i think it is because i typically don't do anything relating to Christmas til after Thanksgiving. a tradition that has carried over from childhood.
