Just a quick post today as I have been traveling. As a lot of you know, I work for one of the country’s biggest photo labs and part of my responsibilities are to determine our marketing and sales at trade shows. We are thick in the trade show season right now and I travel a lot the first 3-4 months of the year – often to Las Vegas. And you know what – I never take a camera. Since my decision to now always carry a camera (see my post about a lost picture here), here are a few from my recent trip:

Depends on how many years you have worked for your company. I live in Las Vegas, have for 21 1/2 years and I still love it here. I can see they fixed up the sign. That bottom part is new. I need to go and get a few photos. I would guess 15 times.

The picture of the sign is a stock picture – realize I didn’t take it. Since you know where it is you know it’s kind of hard to pull over on Las Vegas Blvd and take a picture. Maybe park at Mandalay Bay and walk over? I know I’ve passed it a bunch of times and never stopped to take a picture!

Hmmm… How many times has WPPI been in Vegas??? LOL I work for a portrait photographer in a very small office (ummm 3 of us besides the photog and 1 is his son). We were soooo hoping he’d decide to head there this year…
As for a guess – 20 times with Jenn making it half of them?

This one is difficult! I know you are both very busy people sooooo……I would guess 18 times for Stan and 4 for Jenn.
I love Vegas! We have been several times! Great vegas photo!
Some hints for everyone –
Cate – WPPI is not the only photo show in Vegas – PPA/Imaging USA and PMA has been there numerous times.
Kathy – while i have only worked for the lab for 8 years, I was with Kodak 13 years. At times I didn’t go at all, other times at least 2-4 times a year. Record was 5 times in a year.
One person guessed correctly for Jenn – everyone is WAY off for me! 9;-)
