I don’t know about you, but sometimes I just can’t get inspired to scrap! Some Saturdays I’ve published a scraplift layout to get your creative juices going, but since I’ve not had a lot of computer time this week to go layout hunting, I thought we’d try a SPEED SCRAP!!
For those of you who haven’t done one of these, let me explain:
- At 4PM today we will post in the forum and in the chatroom our first instruction. This instruction usually tells you to find a certain number of photos or papers.
- Every 10 minutes for the next hour, we will add another instruction. It might be to crop your photos in a certain shape, to add a certain type of element, or to arrange your photos in a particular pattern.
- In between, you will work on your layout, and can post in the forum or chat with us in the chatroom. Ask questions, share your work (you will need to take a screen shot and upload it to a sharing site like Photobucket, or use Yahoo IM to share with individual friends) or just chat.
- When time is up, you’ll have another 24 hours to finish up your layout and post in the gallery!
I’ll have a little downloadable goodie for everyone who posts – but your real reward is a fun afternoon of scrapping with friends, and a layout you’ll love!
See you in the chatroom!
Jenn
