I never looked like that! – Foto Friday

One of my favorite sites to stop by and have a laugh is awkwardfamilyphotos.com.  The brain child of Mike Bender and Doug Chernack, they noticed an kind of strange family photo on their wall one day and decided to post it and a few more awkward photos of their families…

And a internet phenomenon was born!

The site features user submitted photos of .. you guessed it, bad family portraits.  Some are really funny:

Some subtle for their awkwardness:

and some are kind of disturbing:

But all are sure to give you a smile.  The site has gotten so big it generates more that a million visits a day(!) and got them a book deal.
